Dr. Kwang Soo Bae emigrated from Seoul, South Korea in 1970 to Queens, NY. Dr. Bae then moved to Long Island where he grew up and graduated from Hofstra University.
In 1989, he attended New York University College of Dentistry during which he served as Vice-President for three and a half years .
Dr. Bae graduated NYU College of Dentistry in 1993 and was honored by his classmates with the "Hyman J. Schorr Award" for the sincerity and helpfulness shown his fellow classmates.
From 1993-1994, Dr. Bae completed a general practice residency program at Goldwater Memorial Hospital in NYC.

At Goldwater, Dr. Bae treated the chronically ill and the developmentally disabled patients.
Dr. Bae continued his training and education with the developmentally disabled as fellow then chief fellow in the two years at Helen Hayes Hospital.
In February 1997, Dr. Bae established Prospect Dental Associates along with classmate Dr. Nestor Santos. After nine years of practice, Dr. Bae is proud and honored to be serving the families of South Orange and its neighboring communities.
